Poptarts should make breakfast easier, right??? Jocelyn wanted her special Barbie Poptarts because "if you lick the girls they taste real good" so there was a bit of panic this morning when I opened her package to find 2 poptarts with the phrase "Barbie Fairytopia" written on them and no girls. Normally a fit would be thrown if anyone even thought about asking for her special Barbie Poptarts but thankfully Raleigh had just asked about what flavor these were so I was able to pass them off to him without any tears. I carefully opened the next package and gave a sigh of relief when I saw Barbie girls on both Poptarts. Then, Liam's Poptart was broken when I opened the package and he's really picky about things like that so there was a little bit of upset about that but I distracted him with a tangerine and he got over it until... he dropped the smallest piece of the poptart on the floor and went nutso on me when I threw it away.

Thankfully, the day has improved already.

Must quit drinking beer

I can't believe how totally tipsy I am from drinking 2.5 Red Stripe beers (quickly, I must add). The .5 is from my generous DH who sees how much fun I'm having even though there's no more beer in the frideg. Work wasn't bad tonight but it was work anyway. I better go for now 'cause it's taking forever to type this because even though I'm tipsy, I'm still anal about spelling and punctuation. WTF??????

Happy Thanksgiving

I am such a lucky girl to have the best husband anyone could have and 5 wonderful kids. I am so very thankful for all of my family and friends. I am truly blessed.

I got a gorilla today

No silly people. Not a gorilla but a gorilla.

I also bought some new drip pans for my stove since Flylady is going well and the kitchen has been looking so nice that I thought that I deserved them. The ones that were in the kitchen when we bought the house were old and yucky and no matter how hard I tried I could never get them to look very good so there I tossed them.

I was off of work today and DH stayed home with me and the 3 youngest kids so we went shopping and hung out and had a great day overall.

I promise I'm still here

I've just been way busy lately but I'm still here. I got on the Flylady bandwagon again with Bobbi and am hoping that I can stick with it this time. There's alot of clutter that I need to get out of the house.

Do broken cookies count???

This Weight Watchers thing is tough sometimes. Like right now... tough. I think that broken cookies (or pretzels or other bite sized items) shouldn't count. Surely there must be some affect on the calorie content when they break. What's really bad is that if this were true I can envision myself with a heavy object beating the calories out of the Chips Ahoy that are calling my name from the pantry. I wanna eat a cookie.
